some of you don't know that telling someone they crossed a line w their behavior, or that their behavior is inappropriate for the social setting is a basic human communication skill and it shows. letting someone know that they hurt your feelings, or made an ass of themselves is not callout culture, that's a normal human thing to talk to someone about, and it's sad that the fear of someone else's reactions cause you to think your personal safety, comfort and boundaries aren't worth standing up for. and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

#i think everyone deserves the respect of learning about their own missteps so they can grow #im less upset with your opinion of me than I am about how you don't think im worth the time to learn from my mistakes #but none of you are ready to have that conversation #and this is a very recent thing too #it's been since like covid i wanna say #bc im in school again w all these kids that are suddenly thrown into the adult college sphere and they just #ghost teachers and programs and classes and friends #bc they don't know that they are allowed to tell others that they are uncomfortable or that they have a problem #this whole “block and move on” mentality is literally destroying millennia of human communication in the short span of less than a decade #anywayyyyyyyy #personal
